Welcome home! Mark your calendar for Homecoming 2019!

Alumni, parents, and current and prospective students are all encouraged to enjoy a fall day on Bluffton's beautiful campus.

To help us plan for the best experience, please let us know if you’ll be attending Homecoming 2019! Register yourself and your family at tickets.bluffton.edu. Your paid registration includes breakfast and lunch tickets, tickets to the football game and access to all the activities inside Salzman Stadium. You may also register the day of at the check-in table. 

Cost is $10 per adult, $3 for children 5-13, and free for children ages 4 and under and Bluffton University students. 


 

Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019

9 a.m. - Social Work alumni reunion
This year, we are celebrating 75 years of social work at Bluffton! Join current social work students for coffee and a breakfast treat in the Beaver Tail-Gate area.

9 a.m.-11 a.m. - Bluffton breakfast stand
For breakfast, enjoy fresh fruit and homemade donuts from The Dough Hook, a local bakery owned by Bluffton alumna Marlena Ballinger. Warm beverages will be provided by The Twisted Whisk.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. - Beaver Tail-Gating 
Join President Wood, alumni, students and guests in the inaugural season of Beaver Tail-Gating at all home football games.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. - Alumni Association tent
The Bluffton University Alumni Association are your hosts throughout the day. Join them in the tent to enjoy your meals, reconnect with friends and faculty and learn about what's new on Bluffton's campus. 

9 a.m.-5 p.m. - University Bookstore
Don't forget to stop by the University Bookstore throughout the day to purchase new Bluffton swag.

9:30 a.m. - Educator Preparation Program induction ceremony in Yoder Recital Hall.

10 a.m. to noon - Art gallery reception
“A Visual Reflection on Fear and Connection” by Merrill Krabill of Goshen College, Grace Albrecht Gallery, Sauder Visual Arts Center

11 a.m.-1 p.m. - Food truck rally
For lunch, you will be able to get a taste of local food trucks.

11 a.m.-3 p.m. - Kit Zone
All registered guests, current students, and faculty and staff and their families, are welcome to join the Alumni Association and Marbeck Center Board in the Kit Zone where there will be cornhole, a climbing rock wall, a bounce house, inflatable slide, axe throwing, face painting and other yard games.

1:30 p.m. - Football vs. Rose-Hulman
Your ticket into the game is covered with your Homecoming registration!

2:30 p.m. - Homecoming ceremony
Watch the coronation of the Homecoming king and queen and the introduction of the Homecoming court during halftime of the football game.

5:30 p.m. - Volleyball vs. Transy
Support the volleyball team and student-athletes in their game against Transylvania in Sommer Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door. 

6 p.m. - President's Banquet
This  event will be held Saturday evening, following the completion of the football game. The Alumni Award winners will be honored, as well as the members of the President's Society. Reservations required by Sept. 27 to Claire Clay at clayc@bluffton.edu.


Please note the Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony will NOT be held during Homecoming weekend this year.
