Welcome home! Mark your calendar for Homecoming 2019!

Alumni, parents, and current and prospective students are all encouraged to enjoy a fall day on Bluffton's beautiful campus.

Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019

 New this year:

  • Beaver Tail-Gating - Join President Wood, alumni, students and guests in the inaugural season of Beaver Tail-Gating at all home football games.
  • Bluffton breakfast stand - With your registration, you will receive meal tickets to cover breakfast and lunch! For breakfast, enjoy fresh fruit and homemade donuts from The Dough Hook, a local bakery owned by Bluffton alumna Marlena Ballinger. Warm beverages will be provided by The Twisted Whisk.
  • Social Work alumni reunion - This year, we are celebrating 75 years of social work at Bluffton! Join current social work students for coffee and a breakfast treat in the Beaver Tail-Gate area.
  • Food truck rally - For lunch, you will be able to get a taste of local food trucks. These meals are covered for students and registered alumni.

    • Taco Fiesta Hinojosa
  • Alumni Association tent - The Bluffton University Alumni Association are your hosts throughout the day. Join them in the tent to enjoy your meals, reconnect with friends and faculty and learn about what's new on Bluffton's campus. 
  • Cornhole and other activities - All guests are welcome to participate in various activities inside the stadium. More details will be provided at a later date.

Keeping with tradition:

  • Educator Preparation Program induction ceremony - 9:30 a.m. in Yoder Recital Hall

  • Art gallery reception - "A Visual Reflection on Fear and Connection" by Merrill Krabill of Goshen College, 10 a.m. to noon, Grace Albrecht Gallery, Sauder Visual Arts Center

  • Football game - Support the football team and student-athletes in their game against Rose-Hulman beginning at 1:30 p.m.
  • Homecoming ceremony - Watch the coronation of the Homecoming king and queen and the introduction of the Homecoming court during halftime of the football game.
  • Volleyball game - Support the volleyball team and student-athletes in their game against Transylvania beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Sommer Center.
  • President's Banquet - This invitation-only event will be held on Saturday evening, following the completion of the football game. The Alumni Award winners will be honored, as well as the members of the President's Society.

A full Homecoming schedule will be posted in the fall. Check this page periodically for updates.

Please note the Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony will NOT be held during Homecoming weekend this year. 

To help us plan for the best experience, please let us know if you’ll be attending Homecoming 2019! Register yourself and your family at tickets.bluffton.edu. Your registration includes breakfast and lunch tickets, tickets to the football game and access to all the activities inside Salzman Stadium. You may also register the day of at the check-in table.
