Dare to Dream

In 2010, Bluffton University created the Dare to Dream Scholarship Fund to provide a merit-based scholarship opportunity for high achieving students who are ineligible for federal and state financial aid because of their immigration status. In 2024, the Dare to Dream Scholarship Committee partnered with Everence, a Mennonite financial institution, to expand their reach while honoring their roots at Bluffton.

Today, Dare to Dream welcomes scholarship applications from students accepted to or currently attending Bluffton University as well as other accredited institutions.

Since Dare to Dream is now independent from Bluffton University, once a candidate submits their application, members of the Dare to Dream Scholarship Committee will communicate with the candidate directly regarding the current availability of funds, interview process, and award decisions.
