WHY DID YOU CHOOSE BLUFFTON?
Bluffton offered me a great opportunity to thrive while continuing my academic and educational career.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR MAJOR? WHAT’S MOST EXCITING ABOUT YOUR CLASSES?

I chose pre-physical therapy because of injuries I have had in the past. I have gone through physical therapy and experiencing it firsthand sparked my interest. The most exciting thing about my classes is experiencing real world situations through various assignments and lectures.

TELL US ABOUT BLUFFTON’S FACULTY, STAFF AND COACHES. ARE THEY HELPING YOU REACH YOUR GOALS?

Bluffton’s faculty, staff and coaches provide an amazing support system. The door is always open with any of them. My supervisors for my campus jobs are great. My supervisors are understanding of my busy schedule as a student athlete. My coaches want the best for me on and off the field. They communicate very well and are always there to talk things through when needed.

WHAT STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS ARE YOU PART OF? WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO BE ACTIVE ON CAMPUS?

I am part of the baseball team. Being an athlete on campus gives me a built-in family and group of friends. I am also part of the Revive U health and wellness club. Participating and organizing pickleball and dodgeball tournaments for Revive U provides a fun way to get involved on campus. All of this is important to maximize the college experience. Sitting in a residence hall room all day is not as fun as getting out and enjoying others’ company.

ARE YOU A STUDENT-ATHLETE? WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING ON A TEAM AT BLUFFTON?

I play baseball. The best part about being on a team at Bluffton is the relationships. Being on a team gives me a built-in group of friends and helps me stay in line, have responsibility and accountability.
