“The Anabaptism at 500 events remind us of the larger stream of history and faithfulness from which our institution emerged, including the deep commitments to peace and service and chosen faith that still make our community of learning distinctive,” said Dr. Gerald Mast, professor of communication. “These events at Bluffton are an opportunity for everyone with a connection to Bluffton to know and understand Bluffton more profoundly and to choose whether and how to embrace the faith that has infused Bluffton’s 125 years.”
Bluffton University is affiliated with Mennonite Church USA (MC-USA), an Anabaptist faith denomination. Bluffton University will also host the annual MC-USA Central District Conference June 19-21.
All Anabaptism at 500 events are free and open to public. These events made possible with the generous support of Lowell and Marty Hostetler.
