Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator
Full time - Evening and/or weekend duties as required

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position coordinates and processes all aspects of the human resources and payroll
functions, while providing support and assistance to employees and supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Functional duties:
- Maintains all human resources information, which includes, but is not limited to, Family Medical Leave requests, work injuries and unemployment.
- Coordinate with ADP the processing all wages, benefits and taxes in a timely manner.
- Ensures compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, which includes coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Coordinates with supervisors to assist in the employment process and communicates with faculty, staff and students as needed.
- Works closely with the IT department to increase effectiveness of computer operations, system utilization and software capabilities.

- Handles all other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required to satisfactorily perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
Minimum:
- Education/Certification: Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or related fields.
- Experience: Three to five years of human resources and/or payroll fields. Effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks along with a commitment to service.
Preferred:
- Education/Certification: Graduate degree in Human Resouces Management or related field

The physical demands and/or work environment encountered by the employee while performing
the essential responsibilities of this job must be met with or without reasonable

TYPICAL OFFICE CONDITIONS:
Frequent use of computer. Mobility required within the office complex and trips to
outside offices and off campus for information gathering and delivery.
