A COMMUNITY THAT TOUCHES HOME
Nearly 300 people were in attendance during the Feb.18 ceremony in Bluffton’s Founders Hall. The team was unanimously selected for induction in their first year of eligibility due to their remarkable courage and strength in responding to the March 2, 2007, accident in in Atlanta, Ga., when the team’s charter bus fell from an overpass on their way to spring training. >>> more
TWINNING
Through shared experiences, from Chapels to Forums to trips across the swinging bridge and many late night study sessions in between, students form strong bonds at Bluffton; so strong the connections formed can develop into students building a second family right on campus. But eight current students came to campus with both their best friend and their closest family member already beside them. Four pairs of twins are currently studying at Bluffton. From freshmen to seniors, there is one pair for each class. >>>more
FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME
Being a student-athlete is difficult. From early morning lifting sessions to late night practices, student-athletes face an additional emotional, mental and physical toll on top of being a full-time student. But for many, the love of the game eclipses all challenges. This is especially true for senior athletes Adam Hopkins and Andrew Donnellon who have defied all odds, even dire medical diagnoses, through their love for the game. >>>more
