Minoan Pottery

Index

Minoan pottery, made with a potter's wheel, reflects their love of nature. Sometimes the pots are in natural shapes. Note the beak and the eye of the first vase. Natural motifs also decorate the bodies of the pots -- fish, octopus, and leaves are often integrated with the shape of the vase.
