The Bluffton women’s soccer team (2-0) enjoyed a great week by winning both of their games on the road.  They notched their first win at Hiram Wednesday by the score of 2-1 and defeated Rochester on Saturday 1-0.  This is the first time since 1999 that the Beaver women’s soccer team has won two games in a row.

Sophomore Brianne Von Lehmden (Ft. Jennings/Ft. Jennings) led the Beavers with two goals this week, one being a game winner against Rochester.  She leads the Beavers in points this year with four.  Freshman Kenzey Meyer (Hilliard/Hilliard Darby) provided the other game winning goal against Hiram.  She leads Bluffton in shots with 15 for the year.  Senior goalkeepeer Rochelle Saccomen (Ashland/Ashland) also succeeded in posting a shutout Saturday at Rochester.  She has recorded 45 saves on the season.

The Beavers will be back in action Wednesday at Heidelberg and Saturday at Cincinatti Bible, both games are scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.
