Tanya Rickenberg leads Bluffton with 13 points

The Bluffton College women’s basketball team (1-16, 0-6 HCAC) were defeated by the Anderson Ravens (11-5, 4-2 HCAC) 69-42 Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers came out strong in the first half of play to lead by as many as ten points in the game. The momentum seemed to stop the Ravens leading scorer Angel Hall with only seven points in the first half. Heading into the locker rooms for halftime, Bluffton found themselves up 27-18. Freshman Tanya Rickenberg (Defiance/Paulding) led Bluffton with 13 points for the day. Junior Christina Champion (Oregon/Clay) was the other Beaver in double figures with 10 points. Sophomore Karin Schaller (Jenera/Arlington) had a team high nine rebounds and three blocks.
Leading the Ravens was Angel Hall with 31 points. Emily Bailey posted 12 points with Stacie
