BLUFFTON, Ohio - Coach Heather Bruder and the 2010 Bluffton University softball team would like to invite its fans, parents and supporters to participate in one or more fundraising options that are available during the next few months. Proceeds from these events will be used to make the 10-game Florida trip in early March a reality.
The 2009 squad opened its season with an 8-2 mark in Florida, with both losses coming by a single run in extra innings. The Beavers finished second to Transylvania and played on the second day of the HCAC tournament for the first time since it went to a four-team format. Bluffton has earned a berth in the conference tournament in each of the three seasons since Coach Bruder took over.
