Junior Allison Lange (Archbold/Archbold) smacked out a double for the Beavers in the game.

The Beaver bats came alive in the second game as they produced 13 hits. Junior Jackie Wells (Malinta/Patrick Henry) posted a double and triple in the contest. Lange also hit a double for her second of the series.

Sophomore pitcher Sarah Betts (Bryan/Bryan) took her record to 20-4 on the mound with the win and loss.

Bluffton will be back in action on Saturday when they host HCAC opponent Franklin College for what could decide the fate of the conference. Both squads sit atop the Heartland Conference at 7-1 each and will be looking for the victories. The doubleheader is scheduled for 1 pm.
