She ended the season with a 10-9 record, which is the 2nd-most ever by a frosh and is tied for 4th in the single-season record book. In league games, Betts ranked second in the HCAC in opposing batting average (.214), innings pitched (54.0) and strikeouts (55), and was named HCAC player of the week the week of April 13th. Sarah is the daughter of John and Joy Betts of Bryan.

Missy Neal was one of Bluffton’s standout offensive threats this season, ending the season with a .349 batting average, 12 runs scored, 29 hits, and 12 RBI’s. This season Neal shined in Heartland Conference play, batting .500, which ranked 3rd in the HCAC, as well as adding two doubles and four RBI’s.
