Sophomore high jumper Mark Suter turned in the highest placing for a BC performer as he took fourth place in the high jump with a leap of 6-4. Senior Eric Wilson placed eighth in that same event as he cleared 6-2. Suter and Wilson’s efforts earned 5.33 points for BC, good for a team finish of 15th place at the meet.
Senior Dawn Daniels led the Bluffton women’s team as she finished 12th in the 1500 meter run in a time of 5:13.06.
Other top-15 performances were turned in by sophomore Cory Schoenherr (1500, 4:22.51, 12th), freshman Chris Clemens (shot put, 44-8, 14th), Eric Amstutz (long jump, 20-1.5, 14th) and two men’s relay teams: the 4x100 (44.34, 9th) and the 4x400 (3:47.58, 14th).
