BLUFFTON, Ohio –The Bluffton University men’s soccer team (5-8, 1-1 HCAC) traveled to Urbana (5-9) where the Blue Knights came away the victors by a final of 3-0 on Thursday, October 13, 2005.
The Beaver winning streak was halted when the offense struggled to put the ball in the net against an improving Blue Knight squad. Junior goalkeeper Ryan Thomas (Jamestown/Greenview) kept Bluffton in the match recording seven saves, but it was not enough to keep the Beaver streak intact as the Urbana defense finished with a shutout.
The Beavers will return to action on Saturday, October 15 when they go to Franklin for a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. (Indiana time)
