Beavers drop two on the week

    The Bluffton University men’s soccer team (2-10, 1-3 HCAC) dropped two games this past week.  The first was a 2-1 decision to Indiana Tech with the second loss coming as a 1-0 overtime lose to Franklin College.

   Leading the Beavers against Indiana Tech was sophomore Justin Rohrer (Millersburg/West Holmes) who scored Bluffton’s lone goal.  Freshman Tyler Chapman (Shreve/Triway) assisted on the goal. 

   While playing Franklin in very blustery conditions on Saturday, sophomore goalie Ryan Thomas (Jamestown/Greeneview) posted four saves for the Beavers.

   Bluffton is led on the season by senior Caspar Agyeman-Duah (Fairfield, Oh) Agyeman-Duah who has scored four goals for Bluffton and has accumulated nine total points.  Senior Chad Perry (Findlay/Dover) has posted two goals and four points.  Tyler Chapman has tallied two goals, one assist and five points also for the Beavers.  Goalkeeper Ryan Thomas has totaled 65 saves for the year. 

   Bluffton will be back in action this week as they take on Taylor Ft. Wayne Thursday at home, start time for game is 4 p.m.
