BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Bluffton University Beavers (0-5) had a rough week by dropping two contests to Heidelberg and Rochester.

The Beavers lost on the road last Tuesday at Heidelberg College 7-0. Goalkeeper Ryan Thomas (Jamestown/Greeneview) had eight saves at goal for the game.

Against Rochester the Beavers got off to a slow start in the first half, but picked up the pace in the second by scoring two goals. The first goal came from senior Caspar-Ageyman Duah (Fairfield, OH) and the other by junior David Lanka (Plain City/Jonathan Alder) with the assist from Chad Perry (Findlay/Dover).  Sophomore Ryan Thomas posted 7 saves in the contest. Despite the Beavers efforts, they would lose the game 4-2.

Bluffton University will be back in action Tuesday at home against Cincinnati Bible College.  Start time scheduled for 4 p.m.
