The Bluffton College men’s soccer team (4-6, 0-1 HCAC) lost two this past week. The first loss was to Urbana 4-0, the second coming in the Beaver’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener against Hanover 3-0.
Leading the Beavers on the week was Justin Rohrer (Millersburg/West Holmes) with three shots against Urbana and five against Hanover. Sr. Jon Lindow (Columbia Station/Padua Franciscan) is currently tied for third in the HCAC in goals (6) and goals per game (0.75). Sr. Diego Rodriguez (Kalona, Iowa/Iowa Mennonite) still sits at the top in assists (5) and assists per game (0.62).
Bluffton will continue their schedule this week with two HCAC matches. The first will be at Manchester on Wednesday (4 pm start) and Saturday at home when they host Anderson (2 pm start).
