Glenn Snyder

Glenn Snyder was a football player, student, long time coach and administrator at Bluffton. He is director of admissions at International School of Theology.

Snyder coached the Bluffton cagers 14 years, the third longest men’s tenure, while recording the most wins and best percentage of anyone who coached more than three years at the time.

Snyder taught in the health, fitness and sport science department, was head tennis coach and assistant football and baseball coach. He was HBCC tennis coach of the year in 1985.

He served as director of admissions, dean of men, director of Marbeck Center, acting dean of students, athletic director, HPER chairman and chairman of the faculty during his 20 years at Bluffton.

Snyder played football four years at Bluffton, earning All Mid-Ohio League honors at center as a senior. He has a master’s degree from Kent State and Ed.D. from Northern Colorado.

A native of Girard, he has also coached, taught and has been an administrator at Fresno, Pacific, Bethel and the United States Sports Academy.
