The 1962 Bluffton University baseball squad finished its record-breaking season with a 10-4 mark, including an 8-2 record in conference action. Coach A. C. Burcky led his squad to a first-place tie in the conference and was named to the National Association of Athletic Collegiate Hall of Fame at the conclusion of the season.
The 1962 team was equally adept at the plate and in the field. The Beavers hit .323 for the year while the pitching staff compiled a miniscule earned run average on the mound.
