BLUFFTON, Ohio—Nine Bluffton University football players went back to elementary school as teachers on Feb. 26 and 28.

Accompanied by their head coach, Tyson Veidt, the student-athletes went to Ottoville School, where they taught football skills to students in grades 1-5 during an after-school enrichment program. The Bluffton contingent traveled to the Putnam County school at the invitation of second-grade teacher Judy Bosch, who oversees the enrichment program.
The group of players included Bosch’s stepson, Hunter Bosch, a Bluffton sophomore from Elida, Ohio. Bosch is a Shawnee High School graduate, as is another participant, junior C.J. Sewell of Lima, Ohio. Joining them were, by hometowns and high schools, juniors Josh Runda, Lima/Bath; Ryan Leopold, Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf; Marquis Brown, University Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights; Derrick Baksa, Paulding, Ohio/Wayne Trace; and Shawn Frost, Edison, Ohio/Mount Gilead; sophomore Nick Sheehan, Monroeville, Ind./Heritage; and first-year student-athlete Matt Holden, Convoy, Ohio/Crestview.
