The Bluffton football team participated in the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes® event sponsored by the university's Social Work Club on March 30, 2009. Men from all walks of life walked one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes to raise awareness of rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
Proceeds from sponsored walkers supported Crossroads Crisis Center in Lima, Ohio. Crossroads provides 24-hour, seven-day support for victims of domestic and family violence.
