The 2000 EMU Sarasota Spring Classic
The BC baseball had an amazing finish to the fourth annual EMU-Sarasota Spring Classic today. Senior Bob Sierer threw a no-hitter as the Beavers shutout Kenyon 13-0 this morning, then BC knocked off tournament runner-up Eastern Mennonite in the nightcap 11-7 in nine innings."It was a great way to finish up the tournament," said BC head coach Greg Brooks. "We had another great week here in Sarasota, and we came together as a baseball team here today, too."
Sierer along with sophomores Todd Pickthorn and Dustin Kreis were named to the All-Tournament Team.
