Snavely scores 30 in loss at OberlinDecember 4, 1999
Elizabeth Snavely scored 30 points and had 13 rebounds, but BC fell at Oberlin College Saturday afternoon 89-79. The 5-10 junior hit 13 of 21 field goal attempts and was 4-4 from the free throw line. She has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week as she scored 51 points in BC's two games last week.
Bluffton jumped out to a seven point lead early in the game on buckets from juniors Jen Bear, Kristy Crall and Bree Wood, but the Yeomen came back to take a two-point lead at halftime 42-40.
Oberlin then went on a 10-0 run early in the second half, but field goals by Snavely kept BC in the game. Snavely netted 20 of her points in the second half.
