Lions close strong, hand Bluffton home lose

The College of Mount St. Joseph put together an impressive ending to Wednesday night's game against Bluffton College as the Lions ran away with a 107-76 Heartland Conference victory in Founders Hall.

Bluffton took a 62-60 lead with just over 15 minutes left in the game, but the Mount outscored BC 47-14 over the remainder of the game to earn the 31 point victory. The final margin was MSJ's largest lead of the night, which the Lions built on a 24-4 run over a six minute stretch late in the game.

Chad Cramer and Ben Coole led Bluffton with 16 points each, while Travis Elsass added 13 points and Jeremy Roberts chipped in 11.

The Mount landed five players in double figures, led by Joe Toney with 23 points.
