Beavers drop two to sister school in EMU Spring Classic

SARASOTA, FL. – The Bluffton College baseball team (2-4) lost both games on Thursday to their sister school, Eastern Mennonite University. Bluffton lost the first game 3-2 and the second game 6-3.

 

Senior Scott VanEman went 2-for-3 in the Beavers first game with one stolen base and one run scored. Jared Owens and Jim Dwenger posted a double each.

 

Senior Ryan Fiely went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI in game two.

 

Bluffton College will conclude play in the Eastern Mennonite Spring Classic on Friday when the play Goshen at 2 pm and Eastern Mennonite at 4:30 pm.
