In recent years, Bluffton University has developed and piloted a number of mediation programs including a mediation certificate option for students, mediation training, conflict resolution workshops and provided mediation services to the regional community. As part of the university’s strategic planning process, a restorative justice taskforce is conducting a review of the role of mediation at Bluffton with the goal of developing recommendations for program changes by fall 2011. During this time, the university is not offering the mediation certificate program or mediation outreach services.
