Liberal arts & sciences

College English is to be taken during the first year. Students must take the English level (110 or 120) into which they were placed.
Understanding Numerical Data may be taken by any student who places into College Algebra or above.
These courses are open to all students: Public Speaking and Persuasion, Introduction to Biblical Worldview, Integrated Arts, and the social sciences.
Natural Science courses with a NSC prefix are open to all students. Lab sciences require completion of Basic Math or placement into College Algebra or above.
Humanities 1 is open to all students who have completed College English. Humanities 2 is open to students who have completed Humanities 1.
The upper-level religion courses are open to all students who have completed Introduction to Biblical Worldview.
Issues in Modern America should be taken by juniors and interested sophomores. (Students must have completed 15 hours of general education credit before enrolling.)
Cross-cultural Experience should be taken by students in the spring of their sophomore or junior year. For students who chose to fulfill their cross-cultural requirement by taking Spanish courses, note that all Spanish courses require a placement test.
Christian Values in the Global Community is open to all seniors. It is expected that students will have completed their cross-cultural requirement and Issues in Modern America prior to taking this course.
