What can I do with a History Major?

As a number of Bluffton history alumni can testify, studying history can lead one into a variety of different career fields. In developing the analytical and writing skills of a trained historian, upon graduation students find that history is excellent training for work not only in traditional areas such as teaching but also in the fields of law, journalism, business and the non-profit sector and church work. Bluffton alumni are working as librarians, college professors, high school teachers, archivists, business technicians and museum curators.
