Courses from business studies, communication, mathematics, art, psychology and sociology departments are incorporated into the required and elective courses for the marketing major. Marketing majors will have a concentration in either market research or promotions and branding.
Students in upper-level courses will create marketing plans for a real companies and present plans to company leaders. Marketing related internships are available to qualified seniors.
Pete Suter, one of the primary marketing professors, is a small business owner with marketing and advertising experience.
