How does Bluffton compare?

Bluffton participates in the ETS major field test to measure students' subject knowledge and ability to apply facts, concepts, theories and analytical methods in the semester before graduation. In recent years, Bluffton students have performed exceedingly well on this exam.

In six of the past seven years, Bluffton students have scored with an average above the 80th percentile. In three of those years, our students have scored with an average at or above the 95th percentile. In 2015 two students  - Victoria Myers and Carly Unruh - scored in the 80th percentile.

This is an impressive feat considering that nearly 500 universities (and more than 30,000 students) take this assessment examination each year.
