Proceeds of the run/walk supported the Bluffton University Alumni Association.
Mark your calendar now for the May Day Run/Walk on May 3, 2014.
May Day Run: All paved, rural roads. Mile splits. Water along route. Four-mile distance. Post-race complimentary refreshments and men's and women's locker rooms will be available for all runners.

Advance registration (by April 19) is $20 with newly designed moisture-wicking shirt or $12 with no shirt. Day of event registration is $15 with no shirt. Shirts available for $15 while supplies last.
Trophies for the first overall male and female ;runners. Medallions will be given to the top three finishers in each age group for both males and females. Age groups are 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and over.
College Cabin Walk: Two course choices: 1) A course that winds through the Bluffton University Nature Preserve with some trail hiking. Be prepared for mud in the event of inclement weather. 2) A stroller-friendly course that will be on paved roads. A water rest stop is provided at the College Cabin.

New! Family fun Run and Toddler Trot
- Family Fun Run: If you enjoy jogging but are not up for four miles, participate in our family fun run! The half-mile jog through campus is open to all ages, so bring your children! Make it a multi-generational event by inviting grandparents as well. Register between 8-9 a.m. the day of the run. Registration fee is $3 per person. Event begins at the Sommer Center beginning at 9:15 a.m.
- Toddler Trot: Following the Family Fun Run, we will hold our first Toddler Trot. This event is for children five years and younger and will be held inside the Sommer Center. Bluffton's mascot, J. Denny Beaver, will try and keep pace with these youngsters. No registration fee. Sign up between 8-9 a.m. at the Sommer Center. Participation ribbon to all finishers!
Run awards: Trophies to first overall male and female finishers. Medallions given to top three finishers in each age group for both males and females. Results will be posted online.
May Day box office open in Sommer Center
Tickets for May Day weekend events may be purchased at the box office in the Sommer Center lobby from 4-6 p.m. weekdays. The box office will register participants for the four-mile May Day run/walk on May 4. Tickets for May Day and other campus events may be ordered online as well, at http://tickets.bluffton.edu.
