Each year the Bluffton University Alumni Association honors alumni who have made significant contributions with their lives and in their vocations.

2012 Alumni Award recipients
  • Jean Hoover Triplett `47 will receive the Lifetime Service Award, which honors alumni who have dedicated their lives to heartfelt service to people, community or church.
  • Dr. Julie Heath `78 will receive the Professional Achievement Award for having achieved notable success and recognition in her career.
  • Emelia Hostetler Brown `04 will receive the Outstanding Young Alumni Award, presented to a graduate from the past 10 years who is distinguished through professional achievement or service.
  • Christine Purves will receive the Faculty/Staff Service Award, presented to a former Bluffton professor or staff person who has fostered a spirit of community through personal relationships with others.

Tickets may be purchased at the gate. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children.

2 p.m. Volleyball vs. Hanover College Founders Hall
4 p.m.  Ultimate Frisbee
Alumni, friends and current students are invited to participate in a rousing game of Ultimate Frisbee.

6 p.m. President's Society dinner (by invitation only)
Members of the President's Society, Noah C. Hirschy Society and Heritage Society will receive personal invitations to this dinner.
