11 Bluffton athletes earn Academic All-Heartland Conference honors

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced the fall honorees of the HCAC All-Academic awards for the 2009-10 school year. 11 Bluffton University athletes were recognized for their efforts in the classroom. Volleyball and cross country led the way for the Beavers with four honorees each.
Representing the volleyball team were senior Brittany Roth (Findlay), junior Kayla Pickering (Jamestown/Greenview) and a pair of sophomores, Jenna Eshleman (Landisville, Pa../Hempfield) and Courtney Zimmerman (Leesburg/Fairfield). Senior Sarah Binkley (Bluffton/Cory Rawson) and sophomore Heather Smith (Elkhart, Ind./Concord), both from women's cross country were honored, as well as senior Ben Siebert (Celina) and sophomore Andy Chaffee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) from the men's team.
Bluffton University is a liberal arts residential campus with 39 undergraduate programs, adult degree completion programs in organizational management and human resource management and master's degree programs in education, organizational management and business administration.
