Defensive line coach Dave Lippincott, a 2000 graduate of the University of Dayton with a degree in physical education, is in his third year at Bluffton College.
The Beavers have ranked second in the Heartland Conference in total defense in each of the two seasons he has been a part of the coaching staff and he coached first-team All-HCAC defensive end Greg Bruns '01 on Bluffton's HCAC co-championship team of 2000.
During his four years as a defensive assistant at Dayton, an NCAA Division I-AA institution, the Flyers posted a combined 32-9 record, winning the Pioneer Football League three times.
Lippincott, who was a two-year letterman at Cincinnati Moeller High School, also has coaching experience during summer camps at the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. In August he completed the master's of education degree program at Bluffton College. He lives in Bluffton.
