BC Falls to Two Top Teams

The BC Men's Tennis squad dropped two matches last week to two top teams.

On Thursday BC dropped a 9-0 decision at Cedarville. Coach Kevin Brintnell said "We made some improvements, but we have a long way to go! I was very surprised with how competitive we were in doubles. We look to keep moving forward."

On Saturday the Beavers had another hard match against Baldwin-Wallace. This match was very intense and well played. Coach Brintnell stated that "Alan Sakoman played a competitive match at number one singles to a kid who hasn't lost all year."

Competing for the Beavers in singles were Alan Sakoman at number one, Bryan Kaye at number two, Tom Shuggars at number three, David Barnes at number four, Garrett Skare at number five and Genti Basha at number six.

Competing in doubles for the BC was Alan Sakoman and Bryan Kaye at number one, Tom Shuggars and David Barnes at number two and Garrett Skare and Genti Basha at number three.

The team was to play here at home against ONU on Monday March 27, 2000 and will play away at Wilmington on Saturday April 1, 2000.
