BC downs CBC 2-0

Bluffton College traveled to Cincinnati Bible College last Tuesday and took a 2-0 victory. Freshman Andrew Hornblower got the scoring started at the 42:30 mark off an assist from freshman Adam Drake. In the second half senior Jon Corbin booted his first goal of the season, that coming off an assist from sophomore Mark Stutzman after 75:12 of play.

Senior goalkeeper Rod Stutzman saved seven shots against CBC to record his third shutout of the season. Hornblower has three goals to lead the Beavers and is tied with Mark Stutzman for the team lead in points with 11, who has two goals and two assists for his six points. Freshman David Luttrell has two goals and one assist for five points.

BC hosted Manchester College last Saturday and fell to the Spartans 3-0. Rod Stutzman had 26 saves in the match.

Bluffton was to have traveled to Franklin College on Tuesday and will be in action again on Friday at home against Wilmington with game time set for 4:00 p.m. On Saturday the current Beavers will take on the former Beavers in an Alumni match set for noon.
