Quakers clip Bluffton 73-68
Bluffton fell on the road Saturday, suffering a 73-68 defeat at Wilmington College.
BC trailed by 10 at halftime but fought back in the second half and trailed by just two points with 2:46 left in the game as Rod Overmyer hit his fifth three-pointer of the game.
Wilmington answered with a trey of their own that was then followed by two free throws by BC's Chad Cramer that brought the score back to within three. The Quakers sank two freebies with :11 remaining to then seal the five-point verdict.
Overmyer led all scorers with 21 points and added six rebounds. Jeremy Roberts collected 16 points and nine rebounds, while Ben Coole chipped in 10 points.
BC will host Mount St. Joseph Wednesday night in their last home game of the season.
