Hanover takes 71-65 win from BC


Bluffton held a 30-25 halftime lead Saturday afternoon at Hanover, but the host Panther squad fought back to take a 71-65 victory to remain tied atop the HCAC.

Hanover went on a 13-2 run to start the second half, but Bluffton battled back to trail by just a basket or two most of the second half. Two buckets from Jeremy Roberts brought BC to within three points with 1:14 remaining, but the Panthers held on for the win.

Ben Coole led Bluffton with 15 points, while Rod Overmyer added 11. Roberts was held to just five shot attempts and finished with 10 points.
