Bluffton awards three $1,000 per year ($4,000 total value) scholarships to promising and talented first-year students majoring in art, graphic design, art with teaching licensure, art and writing or pre-art therapy. A portfolio of artwork is required for art scholarship consideration.

Deadline for portfolio submission is March 1, 2019.

A portfolio represents your skills as an artist or designer, including craftsmanship, technique, creativity and the ability to communicate visual ideas. High school seniors use portfolios to gain admission to art schools and portfolio scholarships. Professionals use them to secure employment.

The scholarships are renewable for four years for art majors maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

Please submit the Portfolio Information Form below, along with a portfolio. Portfolios and the art scholarship application must both be received for scholarship consideration.
