Presidential Scholarship Competition

Two students will be awarded a
Full-tuition
Presidential Scholarship
(valued at more than
$105,000 over four years)
Two others will be awarded a
Three-quarter's tuition
Dean's Scholarship
(valued at more than
$80,000 over four years)
All participants will receive an additional $1,000 annual scholarship. This award will be added to any other Bluffton scholarships students receive.
Scholarship recipients are chosen based on an essay written during the competition,
overall grade point average and standardized test score. Students and their families
are invited to the competition. A packet of information will be sent to each participant
7-10 days prior to the competition.
Students with an unavoidable conflict on that date will have an alternate option for
participating. Contact the office of admissions for details.
Eligibility requirements

- Current high school senior
- A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Composite score of at least a 25 on the ACT or 1130 on the SAT (critical reading and math scores only).
- Be officially admitted to Bluffton
- Register for the competition.
